Chianti E-Bike Tour of the Castles

Setting off from the centre of Radda in Chianti, we will leave Porta Valdarnese behind us and cycle into a magical setting; after 2 km, we will reach Villa Vistarenni, an impressive 16th Century style villa on our hills, and then continue on towards the Castle of San Donato in Perano, a former military facility in Roman times, which has now been converted into a private villa. The thrills don’t end here, because as we cycle along the white road, one of the most famous roads in the area, we will reach the Castle of Vertine, where a visit to this small town which is still fortified and inhabited will be inevitable. After a brief stop, we will set off again towards the Castle of Meleto, cycling through the village of Gaiole in Chianti first, and then onwards in the direction of Siena. We will then reach Meleto, an old Castle of military origin, which has over the years been the subject of disputes between the republic of Florence and Siena. As we continue on our E-bikes through the vineyards and magnificent views, we will come across small towns such as Castagnoli, Rietine and San Martino al Vento. Yet the tour is not over yet, as we have to change hills, so we will begin our descent and then climb pack up to Castello di Ama, a former Etruscan village, which became a fortified town over the following years. Two more kilometres and we will reach Poggio San Polo for a typical light lunch in a small farm, offering local cold cuts, excellent pasta and a delicious glass of Chianti. After lunch, we will cycle through our hills for a very simple 8 km to make our way back to Radda.

All service orders offered by CHIANTI LIVE SRLS must be paid at the time of the order, whether made through the website www.chiantilive.it or directly at the Agency Any other type of payment must be authorized by CHIANTI LIVE SRL. In any case, with the order, the Customer accepts the provisions and rules of CHIANTI LIVE SRLS including the "CANCELLATION POLICY". To register the order, the customer must communicate the following data:
  • NAME AND SURNAME
  • HOME ADDRESS
  • E-MAIL
  • PHONE
If the order relates to the Rental of Motor Vehicles, for each driver, in addition to the data required above for billing, it is necessary to send: - Copy of the driving license valid in Italy for the rented vehicle. - Present a credit card at the time of rental as a guarantee for the hired vehicles. - And you declare in writing your ability to drive, the Agency at the time of rental will check the ability to drive the booked vehicle, if it is found that the customer is unable to drive it, the rental will not be authorized and will not be refunded of the costs incurred. Payment must be made:
  1. From the website www.chiantilive.it
  2. Web Link sent by CHIANTI LIVE, by credit card within 24 hours of receiving the E-Mail message containing the same Link. Failure to pay automatically cancels the order and related reservations
  3. By bank transfer to an account in the name of CHIANTI LIVE on - IBAN IT 57 N 01030 71950 000000450307 - BIC CODE PASCITM1S77. A copy of the bank transfer must be sent by E-MAIL within 24 hours of confirming the order or booking. Failure to pay automatically cancels the order and related reservations
  4. Once the order or booking has been confirmed automatically, the agency's "Cancellation Policy" rules will apply.
  5. Any other agreements must always be agreed with the Agency's Commercial Management in writing.
CANCELLATION POLICY In case of cancellation of purchases of products offered by CHIANTI LIVE SRLS, the costs of penalties will be charged in relation to the individual services making up the tourist package or sold individually. The penalties will be applied according to the cancellation times of the requested service starting from the start date of the service itself. not less than the minimum of € 15. Cancellation timing table Service purchased:
  • The conditions below are not applicable to products indicated as non-refundable;
  • 20% of the fee from 30 to 20 days before the departure date of the service;
  • 50% of the fee from 19 to 15 days before the departure date of the service;
  • 100% of the fee from 14 to the same day as the departure date of the service.
N.B. The calculation of the days does not include that of the withdrawal, the communication of which must be received on a working day, and the travel start day.
